Senior UI Designer · Seattle, WA

Hi, I’m Evan. I design products people actually use.

I’m a Senior UI Designer at PDI Technologies, where I work on the Fuel Rewards and GasBuddy apps. I like being involved in the whole process, from research and flows to the code underneath. Most recently I designed and built Gameeba, a board game night companion app, on my own from idea to launch prep.

About

I got my start in web and database work, then found my way into human-centered design through the City of Dallas's innovation team and went back to school for an M.S. in Human-Computer Interaction. Since 2020 I've been at PDI Technologies as a Senior UI Designer, leading UX and interaction design for mobile reward apps like Fuel Rewards and GasBuddy. Outside of work, I like to build things start to finish. Gameeba is the latest, with a real backend, AI features, and a design system I put together from scratch.

Dining rewards, from flat cash back to points

I redesigned dining offers around a points model and gave the restaurant screen the details people decide with: hours, distance, photos, and reviews. Shipped and live in the app.
